My first Christmas card this year...

At Patties Creations this month, I have used one of her fabulous new Christmas images...

 I just love this image...
It was so lovely to colour and to fussy cut!
I used my alcohol markers to colour it,
added some glossy accents to the berries and a
few glittery blobs here n there, to resemble little bits of Christmas magic!
I popped some 3D foam on the back of the wreath and
used a faux wood backing paper, along with a
beautiful berries and leaves backing paper.
It's hard to see in the photo, but there is some real sparkle to the dark paper!
The sentiment has been stamped.
I love this card - my first Christmas card of this year
and it will be going to a member of my family.

I would like to add this to the following challenges:

Male card

This month, I used an old image from Patties Creations.
(Unfortunately this is no longer for sale in her shop, but she may bring it back-
if enough people ask for it!)

I coloured the image with my alcohol pens
and used some coloured backing papers -
including a star embossed piece.
I used a digital sentiment
and a diecut star.
I also inked the edges of everything to give a bit of a vintage feel.
I wrote the name of the recipient on the gumballs... 'Charlie.'

Chickens

Over at Patties Creations this month, I have used the
"Silly chickens on coop" image... minus the coop!

It just goes to show how versatile Pattie's images are.
I coloured the chickens with my alcohol pens and fussy cut around them.
I embossed a panel and inked the edges for a background and a stamped sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Krafty chicks - atg - 6th August
Seize the birthday - birthday - 6 August
Can you handle the pressure - embossing and birthday - 8th August

Male 50 card

I used one of the images in the Milestones set
to make this card. ..
But I changed it up a little, so that it would make a card
for a male friend, who enjoys being a beekeeper!

I  printed off the bees from Patties other image - Bee my Honeycomb
and fussy cut the bees, colouring them with my alcohol markers and glittering their wings.
The scroll is a basic shape, created in Publisher, with a greeting inside.
I wanted to keep the colours simple, so just used greens to colour the wreath and
a selection of greys to colour the 50, with a white pen to highlight.

Ice cream cones

At Patties Creations this month, I used her image:

This was printed out and coloured using my alcohol markers.
I used coloured fine liners to draw on the teeny little 'hundreds and thousands' sprinkles.
I used glossy accents on the cherries and choccy drizzle.

I fussy cut around the image, added a sentiment and some cute backing papers,
which I cut into strips to make the backing.
Finally, a few punched butterflies finished this card.

Relax with a glass...

For this card, I used one of Pattie's newer images - Frogtini.

I chose this image for my friend's birthday card because
she has a pond on her garden - with loads of frogs and tadpoles in.
She is also partial to chillin' with a glass of something delish and sparkly!

I coloured the image with my alcohol markers and inked the edges.
I had added a computer generated sentiment and
mounted the whole thing onto 3d foam tape.
The tile effect background border is a simple border
of decorative washi tape.
The butterflies are punched out and spots added with my white sakura pen.

Mother's day

For my mum's Mother's day card,

I decided to use Patties new image: Forget-me-knots...

We have lots of Forget-me-knots in our garden, which are all
just starting to bloom. They are beautiful!
I looked closely at the flowers before colouring this image.
I popped he image onto 3d foam and backed onto the grey and blue papers.
I dry embossed the edge of the grey card,
as well as drawing on faux stitching.
A stamped sentiment and punched butterflies finished this card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
As you like it - floral, because forget-me-knots are some of my favourite flowers... I have them all over my garden! -17th April
